  • Quality Control Manager

    Role Description:

    The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the plant’s quality assurance and control systems in compliance with industry standards, project specifications, applicable ASTM/AASHTO requirements, and any DOT specifications. This role ensures consistent product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all production processes in a high-volume precast concrete manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Lead and maintain compliance with NPCA Plant Certification Program
    • Manage plant quality control program in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and project-specific specifications.
    • Serve as primary contact for NPCA audits, DOT inspections, and customer quality audits.
    • Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and traceability of all quality-related processes.
    • Oversee and perform inspection and testing of raw materials, pre & post-pour production inspections (which include dimensional and reinforcement checks), and of finished products prior to shipping.
    • Review mix designs, batching records, and curing processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Coordinate with production to resolve quality issues in real time.
    • Supervise and perform concrete testing procedures including slump, air, compressive strength, and any other quality tests as required.
    • Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
    • Review, approve, and file all internal & external test reports and certifications.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Manage and train QC technicians and inspectors.
    • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the QC team.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • General understanding of NPCA standards, ASTM specs, and precast production methods
    • Experience with mix designs, rebar placement, forms, and curing processes
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability

    Education and Experience:

    • 5+ years of precast concrete experience, preferred
    • 2+ years of production supervision or related experience, preferred
    • In depth familiarity with product line and applications in the precast industry, preferred
    • ACI Field Testing Tech Grade 1
    • Any additional ACI, PCI or NPCA certifications a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing or walking for extended periods of time
    • Exposure to fluctuating weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
    • Combination of office, laboratory, and production floor environments
    • May require extended hours during peak production or audits

    The Flooring Specialist, you will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Greet and direct customers
    • Provide accurate information (ex: product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
    • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
    • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing

  • Home Decor Admin Asst./Expeditor

    Role Description:

    In conjunction with the Home Decor Sales Designers and other department personnel, the individual in this role will assist with the costing and auditing of purchase orders in addition to completing customer intake forms and distributing them to designers to schedule appointments. The individual in this position will assist with flooring sales and small walk-in sales for home décor products if a designer or the flooring specialist is unavailable.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Handle phone calls from shipping companies and provide weekly updates to receiving for incoming home décor products
    • Answer departmental calls not requesting a specific designer
    • Track, via MS Excel, all incoming products and products being purchased. Notify designers when all material or back ordered materials have arrived in our warehouse
    • Update POS generated orders from the cost/sell logs given for each order placed by a designer or sales assistant
    • Assist in resolving departmental customer issues as requested
    • Greet customers when entering the showroom area
    • Provide accurate information (ex: product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
    • Answer customers’ questions about specific flooring products/services
    • Other duties as assigned

    We are hiring for a Lumber & Building Materials Sales Representative for our Macungie, PA location who will drive new business and grow existing accounts. The individual in this role will leverage our multiple product lines to sell lumber, windows, deck/rail, exterior doors, exterior trim, siding, millwork, flooring, and kitchens directly to builders, remodelers, GC’s, sub-contractors, and architects. You must be able to thrive in a fast past, customer driven environment.     General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Cultivate prospects for new business and support existing customers.
    • Travel to cold call contractor offices and job sites in your territory to drive new business.
    • Become knowledgeable of manufacturers & building materials that we work with.
    • Leverage our multiple product lines to cross sell and maximize profits. Yielding increased opportunities to secure customer business and increased commissions.
    • Sell lumber, windows, deck/rail, exterior doors, exterior trim, siding, millwork, and flooring.
    • Collaborate with our Kitchen, flooring, retail, and Precast departments to aid in maximizing sales for the company.
    • Must be able to work on their own and in a team atmosphere, supporting other sales associates with your experience and knowledge.

    Role Description:

    The Non-CDL Driver-Yard/Sales Associate is a multi-faceted position supporting the needs of the customer by delivering and receiving materials, assisting customers in the yard area, and supporting sales at our location in Collegeville.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Assemble and deliver lumber & building materials to customers
    • Operate various delivery trucks including 16’ flatbed, pick-up truck or 16’ box truck
    • Unload vendor deliveries and confirm product has arrived based on sales acknowledgment
    • Work in the yard assisting customers and assembling the lumber orders for delivery
    • Load yard material via forklift and load bulk materials via loader
