    The LBM Inside Sales Supervisor will be part of a family-owned business on the move to grow into their next chapter. This will be a motivated, initiative-driven individual with knowledge and experience in selling lumber and building materials to contractors and builders. The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving sales, providing leadership, and direction for the delivery of services and support by the inside sales representatives to customers, vendors, and fellow associates.     Role Description:

    The Production Associate performs all activities and duties, keeping in mind the best interests of the company while utilizing all company assets to their fullest. As a member of the general laborer staff in the Building Division, an individual in this role produces quality products in a timely, efficient, productive, and profitable manner.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    Works under direct supervision of Building Division Supervisor for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:

    • Setting up and oiling forms
    • Cutting and placing wire mesh
    • Cutting and tying reinforcing bars
    • Placing and setting form liner, holes, and inserts as required per approved shop blueprints
    • Pouring, troweling, and finishing off freshly placed concrete
    • Stripping and cleaning forms
    • Cleaning up around work areas
    • Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
    • Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.

    • Directing and supervising plant production personnel efficiently while meeting M&W safety and quality standards.

    • Work with Plant Manager to establish production & quality standards for all types of products produced.
    • Promote and maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient plant production area, easily and safely accessible to staff, supplies, customers, visitors, and inspectors.
    • Coordinate with Yard Supervisor on when forms & product need to go in or out of plant, as required.
    • Perform and document daily inspections of overhead cranes and forklifts. Notify Production Manager of any deficiencies.
    • Report any equipment or personnel issues immediately to Production Manager and/or Plant Manager.

    The Sales & Estimating Manager manages the estimating workflow and develops standards, procedures, tools, and methodologies to produce cost estimates for precast projects based on work scope, specifications and proposal or contract requirements. This includes oversight of document distribution, quantity takeoffs, and other administrative duties.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Establish processes/procedures to perform analysis of project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements.
    • Incorporate benchmark data, trends, and historical pricing to generate detailed cost estimates that consist of itemized lists of expenses, labor hours, material quantities, and potential cost variations.
    • Implement, maintain, and continually refine a workflow system for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders in coordination with the estimating coordinator.
    • Collaborate with Estimating coordinator to maintain bid calendar.
    • Ensure estimates and change proposals are submitted in a timely manner to the design agent or owner.
    • Advises the upper management regarding the development of circumstances leading to potential change orders or added costs.
    • Use appropriate estimating methods, mathematical models, or specialized estimating software tools to generate estimates.
    • Manage sales and estimating staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
    • Oversee and manage bid/estimate process using the Titan system to communicate with subcontractors and distribute electronic plans and specs.

    We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of precast building products and responsible for the coordination of building projects with sales, production, and customers from contractual award, submittal, production, and delivery to allow M&W Precast to reach or exceed goals and strategic plans.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Communicate the Company’s products and services to customers to provide general fabrication and production information.
    • Attentively listen to and communicate with Customers.
    • Carefully review sales contract, project specifications and drawings for application.
    • Contact vendors and/or subcontractors for product information.
    • Double check all calculations and screen specifications to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
    • Develop a timely submittal package to provide the Customer with product cut sheets and drawings detailing items to be provided by the Company to fulfill the requirements of the project.
    • After a submittal package is approved, create detailed individual fabrication drawings for the production team. Create a production packet with details of the project.
    • Place orders for Customer approved equipment or services from vendors and subcontractors and monitor receipt of items/services. Ensure all equipment and/or services provided are at or below budget.
    • Enter custom fabrication items and materials in Company production software.
    • Arrange for project site visit with Customer and M&W representative(s).
    • Schedule the timely delivery of the building with the production team, Customer, and trucking firm. Review sales order for completeness and ensure information is accurate prior to delivery.
