Screen Printer

Role

Our growing screen print and embroidery and promotional item shop is looking to hire a Screen Printer to help our production team on the shop floor.

The qualified individual will be a team player, have a strong focus on details and quality control and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting production staff with operating printing equipment
• Screen printing of apparel
• Preparing garments for print
• Catching and folding garments
• Quality inspection of garments prior to boxing
• Preparation and cleaning of screens
• Organization of the shop area
• Preparation of orders for shipping

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Detail oriented

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

· Strong interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to stand, lean and reach for extended periods of time
• The ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
• The ability to work in hot and humid conditions (indoors) for extended periods of time

Education and Experience:

· High School diploma or GED

· Prior experience in a production environment a plus

· Screen printing experience preferred, but will provide on-the-job training
